REPUJADO 

Repujado is the Spanish term for the fine art of metal embossing which is similar to repousse (French), where you work on both sides of the metal using hand tools to create a three dimentional effect. I learned this process with an international artisan from Mexico who was trained by the masters in Mexico and Spain. The artwork I created incorporated what I enjoy doing – design, draw and sculpt. These original pieces are created in pewter coated tin imported from Mexico. Commissions are welcomed.
